A Careers in Law session, for SAHC students, is taking place this Wednesday 26 October, 1.30-3.30pm, in the Samuel Alexander Building, room A113. This will be a panel session and a chance to hear from representatives of law firms, Pannones, Glaisyers and Field Fisher Waterhouse. We also hope to be joined by a barrister.

Students should email me so I know how many to expect on the day (louise.sethi@manchester.ac.uk).

The event after this is on Wed 9 Nov, 1.15-2.45 in the Leamington Theatre in Samuel Alexander and is about non-traditional careers. Again, please could students email me.
These events were originally targeted at pre-final and final year students, but we are now opening them up to all students.

Last week's careers session on graduate schemes with speakers from Accenture, PwC, Civil Service fast stream and the Co-operative Group, went very well. The speakers were exceptionally good and passed on valuable insights and tips for applying for graduate training schemes. 83 PFY and final year students from across the school signed-up for the event and 38 turned-up, which made for a good audience.
