The Manchester based student website SaveTheStudent.org is currently looking for students with a keen interest in writing, journalism and online publishing. This is a unique opportunity to improve your CV and employability by gaining first-hand experience learning from a small but highly skilled team in this field.
Founded in 2007 in response to the growing costs of university, SaveTheStudent.org is now the UK’s largest student money website. The site provides free, impartial advice to students on how to make their money go further.
You will be heavily involved in researching, writing, editing and publishing content on the website, as well as a weekly email newsletter and forthcoming book. By working in a small team with experience in journalism, internet marketing (SEO) and website design, you will learn a lot of valuable skills and have fun along the way!
Experience is not required; you just need a good pinch of enthusiasm, self-motivation and a willingness to learn. Hours are flexible to fit around your studies, though you need a minimum of six hours a week to spare.
The team are based in offices close to the universities where you are warmly invited to pop in for a chat and a coffee.
