Be a Student Ambassador

**Now recruiting: SRID Student Ambassadors for the academic year 2013-14**

The Undergraduate Recruitment and Widening Participation Team are currently taking applications for the role of SRID Student Ambassador for the academic year 2013-14. The Undergraduate Recruitment and Widening Participation Team run a comprehensive and exciting programme of activities for prospective students and their key influencers. We work with primary, secondary and further education students as well as teachers, careers advisers and parents. Our aims are to:

• promote opportunities for progression to higher education generally, wherever that might be;
• identify and attract talented students to Manchester from all educational backgrounds.

Student Ambassadors are vital to the work of the team, as they support almost all of our events and activities and work as positive role models for the young people we work with. If you are passionate about The University of Manchester, Higher Education, your chosen subject area, or even better, all three, then we'd like to hear from you! Becoming a SRID student ambassador allows you to apply for a wide variety of paid work opportunities (£6.94 per hour as standard) with casual hours available throughout the year. Becoming an Ambassador with us is a great opportunity to enhance your skills and employability, meet new people, make new friends and earn some money!
